Check your tyre tread
The health of your car’s tyres is crucial not only for your safety but for fuel economy and vehicle handling too. It is important to check and maintain your tyres year-round, but even more so before you embark on that much-anticipated summer getaway!
Take a look at the tread wear indicators that are moulded into your car’s tyres; this is an easy way to see whether your tyres need replacing. If it’s less than 1.5mm of depth left across the width of the tread, it’s time to call us to schedule a tyre change.
Now is also a good time to check the tyre pressure and examine your spare to make sure it is in good, useable condition, in case you need it at some stage.
Check your breaks. If you hear any noises or squeaking, you should let our service team know as soon as possible.

Make sure the air-con is working

Whilst you’re checking fluids, it’s also worth taking a peek into the windscreen washer reservoir and topping that up with water. Adding a windscreen detergent is useful for cleaning off and preventing road grime build-up from your travels.
